Join Us on Hike Day

Come together with your community for a meaningful day of remembrance, support, and fun at our annual Hike for Hospice. Choose to hike 1 km, 3 km, or 5 km—whatever feels right for you.

Bring the whole family (pets too!) and enjoy a day filled with music, face painting, and connection. All registered participants will enjoy a BBQ lunch on us.

Whether you're walking in memory of a loved one or in support of those living with illness and caregiving today, every step you take helps bring compassionate care closer to home.

“I walked for my dad, who received such great support in his final year. Being part of the hike helped me feel connected, supported, and like I was giving back to something that meant so much to our family.”

Where does my money go?

The funds you raise or donate through Hike for Hospice stay right here in our community, supporting individuals and families facing life-limiting illness, caregiving challenges, and grief.
Your contributions help provide free grief and bereavement support, caregiver wellness programs, and access to our medical equipment lending library. They also fund vital outreach and education, making sure more people can access the care they need.

This year, your support matters more than ever. We’ve been awarded two new hospice suites—an incredible milestone after years of advocacy. While partially funded by the province, we must raise the remaining costs to bring these suites to life. Every dollar you raise brings us closer to opening the doors and ensuring that more people in our community can receive end-of-life care in a warm, supportive setting.

What are you waiting for?
